Original Character Background: N/A

Personality: Peter is, on the whole, a fairly dorky and shy kid who nevertheless feels the need to stand up to injustice henever he can. This has been evident even since he was a child, when he attempted to stand up to one of Ivan Vanko's Hammer Drones armed with nothing but a toy Iron Man gauntlet and mask, before being protected by Iron Man himself. This incident was possibly one of the factors that fueled his hero worship of Iron Man, in addition to Tony's genius, fame, and more general heroism. That said, he

Peter's need and desire to help is most likely fueled by what happened to his Uncle Ben, although the specific nature of what happened still remains something of a mystery. This need to help, and a desire to prove himself, has led to him throwing himself into many dangerous situations, even when it's not advisable to do so, and even at the expense of his personal life. This tendency has lessened since his fight with the Vulture, as he has become aware he's not quite ready to handle certain situations by himself.

In some ways, likes being Spider-Man more than he likes being Peter Parker. This was likely exacerbated by his belief that Tony was planning on allowing him to join the Avengers, and lessened upon his resolve to stick around New York to protect the little guy, but it still remains part of his character. After all, being Spider-Man is still fun and exciting. People actually like him, as well. That isn't exactly true as Peter Parker, although his social life as Peter has been slowly improving.

Prone to talking too much when nervous. And in the middle of battle. And in general. In fact, it is insanely difficult to get this kid to shut up at all, especially when he's in his costume. He even uses his constant talking to distract and irritate enemies, leading them to make mistakes during combat.

Highly experience with technology..Peter will routinely dig old technology out of dumpsters in order to repair and modify it. He constructed the original webshooters by himself in his apartment, developed webfluid in high school's chemistry lab, and routine mixed it on the sly during class without anyone being the wiser. Additionally, with Ned's help on programming, he was able to jailbreak the suit Tony constructed for him with nothing more than some wires and a laptop.

The boy is insanely determined. Despite the fact that he needed help, he was still able to hold a sinking ship together long enough for Iron Man to come to his assistance. Not only that, he intentionally started a fight on the outside of a flying cargo plane, not long after digging himself out of a collapsed warehouse, and in a homemade suit.

He loves his Aunt May more than anything else in the world, and particularly would rather she not have to worry.about him. He thus resorts to lying to her about his activities as Spider-Man, though given her recent discovery of his identity, that is certain likely to change..

He does not like the idea of causing anyone's death, or letting anyone near him die if he can possibly do anything about it. This manifests itself in his repeated refusal to activate his suit's Instant-Kill Mode, his rescue of small-time criminal Aaron, and especially his saving of Adrian Toomes, despite the man's repeated attempts to kill him and the fact that Toomes knows who he is under the mask. This trait has actually served him extremely well, as Davis freely provided him with information later, and Toomes denied knowing his true identity.

Samples
RP Sample: The sample must be a thread, with at least five comments from you, that you have made anywhere with this character in the last four months at the canon point you have chosen for said character. Linking to a post or log containing multiple threads will also suffice, as long as at least one of the threads has the required number of comments. This thread sample can be in any format (e.g. network post, prose log, actionspam, Dear Mun post, and so on). While it does not have to be set in Victory Road's setting, you can use a Victory Road test drive thread for this sample, as long as it's a different thread than one used for the second sample below. What we are looking for here is grasp of your character's voice and a sense of how you operate as a role-player. If we feel that the sample provided is not adequate, we reserve the right to ask for another.

Victory Road Sample: This sample must take place in Victory Road's setting and can be EITHER a written post OR another thread if you would prefer not to write a post. The minimum is 300 words for a prose sample, eight sentences for a network post/actionspam sample, or ten comments total (five from you) in an RP sample. What we are looking for here is how the character responds to the Pokéworld's setting. You can also use a Victory Road test drive thread for this sample, but you cannot use the same thread for the first sample above.

Canon Powers: Wall-crawling, Superhuman Strength, Superhuman agility, Superhuman senses, low-level superhuman durability, superhuman equilibrium, superhuman reflexes

Game powers: Generally enhanced physique, Superhuman strength, wall-crawling

Abilities: Genius level intelligence, Specific focus on Chemistry but very good at science in general, Played in school band (Headcanoned as trombone), Understands Italian, speaks at least some Spanish.

Setting: The kid loves sci-fi,so he's going to be excited to be here. And he'll definitely want to help. Even though his character arc in movie included a resolution to do more to help out the little guy and be more of a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man he wouldn't be able to just sit back and do nothing in the face of the end of reality itself. And he'll have no problem sticking to the Legion's no-kill rule.

Network Sample: [The teenager that appears is tapping nervously on the table in front of him, obviously a little out of his depth.]

Okay, so I know this is supposed to be a message to future Peter and all, but here's the thing. Future Peter would know what I'd say, and I know future Peter would know what I'd say, so it all seems...kinda unnecessary? I mean, I can sort of see the point? It's to get us thinking about what we're going to do here and all, but I can do that on my own time. If I was going to keep a message saved to for someone to see later, it wouldn't be to future me.

So, this is a message for Aunt May and Ned. Oh, and Mr. Stark. In case whoever brought you this hasn't told you, I've sort of ended up in another universe. If you're seeing this? I'm probably dead. Or hopefully, alive, just not able to come home right now. I don't want it to happen, and I'm certainly going to try everything I can to keep it from happening, but Mr. Stark can probably tell you, people who do this? We can't always get what we want. And after the thing with Liz's dad, I've kind of realized can't just assume I'm going to be fine.

Aunt May, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just.., I didn't know how, and I knew you'd freak. And...I didn't want to tell you what happened to Uncle Ben was my fault. I had just gotten these powers, I though I could do anything. For once in my life I wasn't just dorky Peter Parker. Uncle Ben tried to give me the speech about responsibility, you know the one...and I didn't want to listen. I could have stopped the guy way before it happened, I should have stopped the guy, and I didn't.

[Peter pauses to wipe tears from his eyes. He takes a deep breath to center himself, and move on.]

Ned, if I do get back, there is so much I'm going to have to take to you about. Seriously, I'm sitting on an actual moon-sized space station. I'm talking an actual Star Trek future here. And aliens. Actual, non-invading peaceful aliens. My doctor was purple and had four arms. And the tech. It blows anything Stark Industries has out of the water. There's an entire planet of robot people. No offense, Mr. Stark. They have had about a thousand years head start on you.

And, Mr. Stark, I know what I said about just sticking to looking after the little guy? But this is big. This is...unimaginably big, If we don't stop Chronoblivion here, it's going to destroy everything. Not just Earth, or the United Planets, or even just this universe. It's going to devour every universe. I need to help. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't.

That's all I've got. Aunt May, I love you. Ned, keep being the most amazing best friend a guy could ask for. Mr. Stark, I know I don't really have the right to ask you for anything, but look after Aunt May for me. Please.

Additional info: He's coming in with the suit from the movie, with Karen the assistant AI installed.
